1.) "Ray sketching gannets on Grassholm", 1973, photograph by Roger Worsley (private collection)
2.) "Thomson House Mosaic Cardiff", 1959, glazed tiles, c.20x10metres (collection City of Cardiff). Sadly, in October 2008 Cardiff City Council had this work of public art removed and destroyed when the former offices of the Western Mail & the South Wales Echo were demolished. It was known as 'An Eye for the People' and had graced the building for nearly 50 years. The glazed tiles for the mosaic were made in Italy and incorporated a giant eye and shapes evocative of newspapers being read. The City's action represents the loss of a major work by a Welsh artist who, in her time, featured prominently in the pages of the Western Mail (see report by David Moore in the Western Mail, 30th October 2008, p.20).
